Underliner Air Venting

 

Pressure can build up through water and methane gas in large water features.  It is somewhat rare, but does occur.  Using the proper pond underliner venting will help prevent this.  The last thing you want is to have to drain an entire pond just to install the underliner.

Underliner venting systems are basically just allowing the gases to escape.  You can use tubes with holes in them.  The gas will push into the holes and then travel up and out of the pond.  Escaping with no damage to the feature or liner.

Liner air vents will simply release water or air trapped into the pond.   With the use of a pressure relief valve to keep water in the pond and get rid of the unwanted air/water.

In smaller water features you should be ok with just using an underlayment underneath the liner.

 

Innovative and patented the Multi-Vent Underliner System is engineered to protect lagoon and pond liner from water accumulation and methane gas. Cost effective by using a perforated tubes that are simply placed underneath your liner. Non-woven geotextile is uses to wrap the tubes to allow for more protection and function.
